Our Services

Aroha Counselling Services is proud to offer comprehensive therapeutic services to every member of the family. The therapeutic support we offer is as unique as our clients are, and take place in person or via Zoom telehealth sessions. Counselling sessions are family friendly. We also offer, for no extra cost, appointments for after school/work hours as well as on the weekend.

Our Counselling Services Include

Child and Adolescent Counselling

Individualised sessions focusing on clients aged 6 - 26. Focussing on the child's strengths to overcome obstacles and improve resilience. Using play and drawing therapy to encourage communication and interaction.

Adult Counselling

Our 50 minute Adult Sessions offer a place for non-judgemental, affirming and person-centred therapy. We can support you and your mental health through life’s changes and transitions and help you recover and grow through the challenges too.

Online Counselling

We offer remote counselling using Zoom as an option for people who live further away or who prefer to meet with a counsellor in their private home. This is also an excellent option for those with significant anxiety or physical illness.

Our Rates

Our rates (gst inc) are $150 for a 50 minute session.

Also available are “Term Time Counselling Support” Packages that offer significant discounts for multiple sessions. Please ask if these might be right for you or your child’s situation.
